Apex TransManager is one Network Management System developed by Tekview Co., Ltd to manage optical transport network, which aimed to satisfy different requirements of enterprise-wide private network. Based on rich experience and new technology of Tekview, Apex TransManager has implemented complete control of optical transport network and access network, providing a total solution to manage devices from different vendors.

•Total Management: As one single platform, Apex TransManager could do total management job, including topology management, fault management, performance management, security management for various kinds of devices from different vendors in transport network and access network.

•Standard compliance: Compliant to many standards such as TMF-814 2.1, SNMP V1/V2/V3 and Q3.

•Open Technology: The architecture is based on open technology. Server is based on Java technology which ensure the system is platform independent; J2EE standard compliance design ensure the system can be ported to any J2EE application server; Q3/CORABA/SNMP interfaces are supported to connect to SNMS/EMS/NE, which ensure the scalability and compatibility of system.

•Multiple vendors supported: Through private interfaces of various vendors, Apex TransManager implemented management to transport and access network devices from different vendors, such as HuaQiang, JianQiao and SaiTe etc. Supported devices included, but not limited to ASON, SDH, SONET, MSTP, PCM and powers, which enrich and strengthen the ability of operators to manage their network.

•Flexibility: Based on modular design, the different modules of Apex TransManager can be configured and run independently. Meanwhile these modules can communicate with each other efficiently. Distributed system architecture makes it possible such as load balance, redundancy and scalability.

•Easy to use: User-friendly GUI, providing shut-cut keys, toolbars, right-click menus and customized view.
